Final Distance
Final Distance the single was released on 25th June 2001 and later appeared on the album Deep River. This version of the song has been slowed to a beautiful, very melancholy sounding ballad.
Originally Hikaru was planning to release Distance as a single but around that time a mentally disturbed man brutally killed a couple of children at a school in Osaka. In memory of this Hikaru decided to rework the song into a ballad with some small lyric changes and it became Final Distance.
