On Friday night, 2 friends and i went to the Australian premiere of Perhaps Love. It was on as part of the Sydney Film Fesival. Actually what we saw wasnt the premiere – they also played it earlier during the day….but the director was there also for a Q&A which was kinda cool.
Anyway – this film made me cry soooo much. I am sure if the directr had been anywhere near me to see my face he would have been feeling all ‘yay – i got that one good!’ 😀
Anyways, it had Takeshi Kaneshiro who was very nice to watch, but man it was a gorgeous film. Basically its a love triangle but the story is told about a group of people making a musical film but the musical film mirrors what is going on in the real lives of the main actors – one of the main actors is also the films director after the original actor dropped out. Takeshi Kaneshiro’s character had me crying the most – except for when he briefly flirted with being a BASTARD, but thankfully rethought that and I started balling again – but there were moments when I was crying for all three of them.
Anyways I reccommend it to everyone! 😀
