Busy times

This is the first weekend in a while when I havent had something to do. Or it feels like it. Lets go backwards.

Last weekend I hauled arse down to Melbourne on the train to see Resets last gig. It was awesome and sad at the same time. They released their first cd but it was also the last show. As their main Sydney fangirl I am going to have to make sure I keep up with what they are all doing post-Reset. I am listening to the cd right now while prepping the photos I took at the gig to upload to Flickr (will post link here when I am done).

Weekend before that was Supanova. Brighid and I went as Labtechs from last years Halloween event on Gaia. I stayed about half the day, got Matt Lewis autograph and sat in on a few fa,ous peeps talks, then went tomy friends house for a girly dvd night and ended up staying the night.

Weekend before – well Animania was on but i was almost broke and it was expensive so if i had gone I wouldnt have been able to go to Supanova. I did go down to spotlight to buy material for following weekends cosplay.

Okay I am habing a blank on a few weekends. Had to get up early one weekend to get xrays done on teeth. But there has been other syuff. I just cant remember. But I was busy all the way back to Manifest.

But yeah – have been hella tired of late.

I dont know if I ever told you gusy but parents plans to rebuilf the house are definately GO! So they keep telling me to pack up room but I am procrastinating like usual. Made a bit of an effort today…but got distracted by ripping the last of my cds to mp3. 😀

I have seen a few films recently. Serenity – was cool. I have bought the Firefly series on dvd because I only ever caught bits of eps when it was on tv. The guy who plays Mal…he was a total prat as that priest guy in Buffy but have come to conclusion as anti-hero type dude….fricking nummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways….saw Transporter 2 the other day. Totally more over the top than the original so I laughed a LOT but we only had about 5 seconds of Jason Statham with his shirt off….EXCUSE ME???????????????? First film we had a WHOLE BLOODY FIGHT SCENE so i could oggle him something chronic. BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!! Just watch it dudes – if you make another one I may not go see it. Denied Jason Statham with shirt off for long period……..unbelievable!!!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Very funny. Verry cool. Tim Burton + Johnny Depp = always a vrill film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the Veruca Salt song! And the mechanical puppet thingy when the kids first arrive at the factory – BRILLIANT!
Saw new version of Pride and Prejudice. I liked many things. I liked the Bennets – they felt very realistic even if its not exactl how Jane Austem might have imagined them. Keira Knightley was good. But dude playing Mr Darcy – nice eyes but he played Darcy as a complete and UTTER WUSS!!!!!!! Everytime Elizabeth levels a barb at him he looks like he is gonna cry! EMO DARCY!!!!!!!!!!!! You just need the glasses dude and listen to angsty college rock!
Umm….cant recall if there was anything else…..

Anyways I am busy on Gaia trying to get Halloween stuff while editing pics to upload to Flickr so shall shut up for now.
