I watched this doco on SBS earlier called Horns and Halos. it was about the publishing of the book Fortunate Son, which is about everyones favourite moron in the white house. i remembered hearing about the book before i saw the doco.
it has info about all the dodgy stuff Bush did before he became president and at the end of it there was info about Bush using cocaine. that and the fact that the writer Jim Hatfield had a criminal past made it a really controversial book. the original publisher ended up pulling it. so another small independent publisher, soft skull, took it on and thats what the doco was about.
it was really good. and sad.

i should stop thinking about it and work on my assignment.
