I am bored to death with people writing lame articles trying to analyze the blog phenomenon. Leave it alone. Get over it.
It’s just people sharing their life, views, whatever. For some its the version of your diary you actually would want others to read, for others its a way of bookmarking interesting links without rapidly having their bookmarks get out of control. Some people use it as a way to share things they have discovered about the industry they are in. it was kinda cool when the media started writing about blogs. it was like – ‘woo! i’m part of this!’ but that feeling is gone. i feel like the media is taking something i like and making it lame.
