there have always been a core of blogs who write about interesting things or only link links that other people dont normally find (i bow before firda in this field) but there has always been the majority who have used blogging as a means to whinge about there life (yo!). and while they may be a stalkers dream, usually blogging (or any kind of online diary thig like live journal) is an area where they can whine about their lives and a majority of the people they know in real life will never see it. your mum/sister/partner/roommate may be able to waltz in your room and read your diary – but do they know your web address or livejournal username?
anyways – i like reading about the lives of people in my sidebar. if they have similar interests to me it helps me feel like less of a freak. if we have nothing in common they still might be blogging things that fascinate me. and some are just friends who i want to keep up to date with, even if i cant talk to them all the time.
sorry mate – you obviously dont get it.
