in the wee hours of sunday morning as i went to bed i had the tv on for a few mins and caught a news broadcast about the Columbia space shuttle burning up in the atmosphere.
NASA is one of the few things that i dont get pissed off at the american govt about. i love the idea of NASA and the International Space Station and space exploration and colonising the moon and Mars. it makes me all gooey inside thinking about it. i wish i could go into space. thats why when things like this happen it makes me sad. it sets things back, makes people upset. has the usual media/govt crap about people just doing their jobs being proclaimed heroes because they died in a terrible way.

anyways – how much credence can you give this? it sounds a bit dodgy to me. its a nice bit of sensationalist reporting. maybe they went and found the two most anti-american/israel iraq citizens and asked them what they thought about the shuttle blowing up.
