a few hours late
friday five ::

1. Would you say that you’re good at keeping in touch with people? Not very. I am quite slack actually. Though if i am chummy with someone and we have a lot to talk about via email then i can be quite prompt but most of the time if i want to reply to an email i can still take up to a week to reply. i hate the phone so i am slack about keeping in touch that way. and letters – i could write you a million but never send any of them (i am sure firda has given up on the letter i promised her last year. ^-^). actually if i wanna talk to you then icq is good – i can talk to people in icq for hours….i pity firda sometimes…hehehe

2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why? if i have to choose – email. i hate the phone. if i know a person really well already then meeting in person is fine…its the getting to know you phase that i hate. and i do adore snail male too. i am just slack about it. the why is email is quicker – but if i want to take half the nite composing what i want to say i can. and i can be funny in email the way i never can be in real life.

3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it? i have icq and the msn one but i rarely use the latter. icq is on everytime i go online and i usually end up chatting with firda if she is online. 🙂 i prefer icq because i am used to it now. i couldnt be bothered changing. and a lot of other online friends use it as well.

4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away? far away. best friend lives in another state. work mates all live closer to the city. all my fave online friends live overseas.

5. Are you an “out of sight, out of mind” person, or do you believe that “distance makes the heart grow fonder”? I dont know. If anything the distance thing can be depressing. i miss my best friend a lot but both of us are really slack about keeping in touch.
