if another person asks me if i saw the Matrix stuff when i was in the city yesterday i will puke.

after going to Kinokuniya again i was gonna go to the Dendy at Martin Place to go see Metropolis. i didnt know exactly where it was so i just wandered up. stopped on the way to buy a cheese burger at Maccas.
it turned out that at Martin Place was where they were doing the Matrix stuff. so i asked one of the security blokes if i could get through and he said no so i stood for a minute and then thought – “i’ll walk up around to the next intersection and see if i can see 1) where the Dendy is and 2) if i can get through”. walk walk walk – nope cant get through. so i decide to walk around the block to the top area of where they are filming and see if i can get through….nope.
at this point i was a little annoyed as i couldnt figure out where the Dendy was other than being certain it was where the poopheads had blocked the street off. i was wanting to go to the 4-whatever session of Metropolis…BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! so i sat down and ate my cheeseburger and saw the helicopter take off go up down around up and land. so exciting [note sarcasm].
one more try – walked around so i was facing the place i had walked to when i first went wandering after talking to the security guy and it was blocked off too. decided to sit my ass down for a while and look at the mag i bought in Kinokuniya (more Gackt goodness – will try and get on the computer and share tonight). helicopter took off at least two more times….could have been 3.
at about 5:30 i wandered back round to where i had started (stopped in a 7-11 and bought two bottles of coke and a yummy Caramel Cornetto) and waited till the wankers started letting folks through and finally got to the Dendy at 5:50 or there abouts. the next session wasnt till 6:40. but i got to see and am happy.

i love the Matrix and am looking forward to the next two films (when i saw FotR on friday there was a preview for them – was most excited!) but interfering with my movie going is wrong. please dont do it again movie making people. thank you. 🙂

i’d also like to add i hate walking. walking from Town Hall to Martin Place (plus an hour or so strolling thruogh Kinokuniya) and then walking around the block around Martin Place didnt impress me at all. DOWN WITH EXERCISE!!!!!
