friday five on a friday! shocking

When was the last time you…

1. …sent a handwritten letter? Hmmm. I write them all the time – i just forget to send ’em. Ooh – I sent a postcard from England to my workmates – does that count?

2. …baked something from scratch or made something by hand? I dont bake. But I did make 30 papers cranes for my friends birthday the other week….

3. …camped in a tent?Sometime in highschool. Me and my best friend camped out in the National Park down near Glenbrook overnite. it pissed with rain and we were really damp and wet but it was heaps of fun!

4. …volunteered your time to church, school, or community? Hmmm…..well it wasnt exactly volunteering but i worked at a Community Legal Centre for a while and once i finished the main bulk of the job i would go down there every month or so and worl for nothing in exchange for being able to play on the internet when i had finished. this was before we had access at home or even at the local library.

5. …helped a stranger? Ummm….I dont know. I am always a sucker for people who come up to you looking like hell and they ask for some money….I never have much but i usually give them something. I cant think of anything else really off the top of my head. But I do like the feeling you get when you help out someone. Even if its something as dorky as giving directions to a person on the street – always makes me happy when i can do that in Sydney because i dont know the place that well so when I do help I feel its a mighty accomplishment. 🙂
