well i have been home a few hours but the dad wouldnt get off the computer.

can i just say WOOHOO to seeing a bunch of jedi knights going off like a frog in a sock (as my sister likes to say). and Yoda looking a tad peeved and having a bit of a go at someone. yup yup – all good. obiwan drooliness!

me and one of the girls i went with kept leaning over and mentioning how certain scenes reminded us of other films. even just watching the trailers i thought the speeding around Coruscant scenes looked a tad bit like the cab scene in the fifth element. but there were lots of other scenes that reminded us of other flicks. but i wont comment for now. my friend sarah as well as going to the aussie prem also went to a midnight session closer to where she lives. i would have too but then i probably wouldnt have got home till 5 or 6am because i am pretty sure the cabs stop running near here after 2am and dont start back till 5:30-6am unless they get a booking the day before.

it was cool seeing some fans dressed up as people from the various films too.

ooh – one thing i noticed near the start – there is a shot of Coruscant from space and i thought the lights on the ground sort of resembled the shape of a Mandelbrot a bit….
