Manifest – what i recall

– Train down did suck to hell. dozed a lot but the lil’ lever to adjust chair for sleeping was digging in my thigh – wonderful.

– Got to Melb in the early morn of saturday and was met by Accom co-ord Juliana – stellar chick! but didnt see her much after friday. went to hotel and dumped stuff and vegged till after midday then went to city and visited restaurant that had cheap food (there was this crazy thing out in the alleyway with this safe suspended above a target – took some photos while waiting for a table) but was pretty good. blonde girl next to me (i dont recall a lot of names..SORRY!) felt much shame at having to use a fork and spoon..i felt no such shame – i was hungry!!!!!!! my chopstick skill…well that word would be inappropriate for what i can do… 🙂

– after food juliana abandoned us to go meet more folks and she sent us off to Federation Square – me and brisvegas chick Suz ran away and roamed the shops around melbournes china town – WE HAD MUCHAS FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

– went back to hotel and then trundled off to melbourne uni so pre-regs and lamers like myself could pick up our pass thingies instead of having to face the evil crowds in the morn. then met up with some tama-gang kids and we trundled off to Crown Casino where they have this place called Galactic Circus and the kids all played on the monster DDR thing there! excellent!!! then back to hotel to sleep.

-saturday – up and off to manifest nice and early. trailed behind the adelaidians because i remembered them from manifest last year and animania (mitchel is like an aussie con icon i think!). got there and stalked the tama-table. in the name of privacy to the tama-gods i wont name names – but wow…someone who i was lead to believe was evil incarnate – damn normal! anyhoo – they had left my gravi remix i had annoyed them about at home and promised to bring it the next day. anyhoo – all i recall that i did on sat was watch the cosplay, go to the Cosplay and JMusic panel and catch half of the second ep of .hack//SIGN

– that night went out to dinner with tamachannel friends and then back to a friends place for party where there was gaming and more ddr! i kept thinking i have SOOO been hanging out with the wrong people all my life! it was the cool!

-sunday morning was funny – one of the girls who slept over dressed up as sumomo for cosplay and at one point went up to our hosts room (while he was still asleep) and started blowing her whistle and banging her tamborine…bloody brilliant! he was less impressed…heehee

-ohers all trundled off to manifest but we had to go pick up someone to take them to the station and at her house we then had to wait while she finished getting ready. she looked cool! and her cat was very chatty – we had a long talk. ^-^ got to manifest after 1pm. ran off to finally watch some anime while friends went into the city. saw very end of Wolfs Rain and got to see both eps of Figure 17 (uber kawaii-ness!!!) then got gravi remix from tamagods, then watched some of the auction, then went to Yaoi panel – WAS PACKED! was gonna go watch Fushigi Yuugi but got lazy and hung around for the closing ceremony instead..then was banished while band set up.

ALMOST FORGOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! met Ami who did the jrock talk at the jmusic panel – bonded over gackt love (HI AMI!!!!). i nearly died when she told me about meeting Gackt JOB. and GacktJOB-with-You-with-dreads-era NO LESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD HAVE DIED!!!!!! or collapsed from hyperventilating! YOU WITH DREADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *DIES*
anyways – after a mad bonding session we sat together to watch the band.

– re-set://0 did rock! well done kids. if you guys put out cd of the gig i promise to buy!!

-then watched karaoke and then back to hotel to sleep and get up uber early to catch train home. was too scared of fucking up with trams (yes i am a wuss!) so walked from hotel to spencer street station. mock me if you will! train home wasnt as bad. only had someone beside me from albury to somewhere in nsw – only a few stops. also had loads of leg room. slept like a baby!

all that did not mention the fun i had. and how silly me and Suz from brisvegas were – girl is a riot! though she will pay for the humiliation she caused me!!
must also mention the yaoi anthology Juliana let me look at which cracked me up majorly.

also – so amazed with all the cool costumes (DAMN THAT HUGE MOOGLE ROCKED!!) i cant believe i wasted time just chilling when i could have been yelling at people to stand still so i could get more photos!!! so bummed. i am gonna be a photo-taking psycho at animania!!!
i still think i am suffering from major bummer from coming off my ‘going to/am at manifest’ high. 🙁
