things i have been meaning to blog for a week

last week the SMH had an article about Toni Collette and an aussie film she is in – Japanese Story – that premiered at Cannes. the article on the site seems to have disappeared – i think they just rewrote it to this article but the original bugged me when i read it because it mentioned the Japanese co-star a number of times without mentioning his name….turds!! I wanted to see if he was someone famous in Japan or not. Anyhoo his name is Gotaro Tsunashima and from looking at his page he has done quite a few things but I cant read most of them….*cries* I think he might be in theatre more from a few pics i saw on the website…but he was also in an aussie mini series called Changi which i vaguely recall hearing about but didnt see. he’s practically an australian now!!! ^-^
so yeah – new guy to have a mini crush on for a week or two! ^-^

some recent blogdex gems::

this article (nytimes) – are they just scraping the barrel for new things to write about the proliferation of blogs? its so dorky. and anyone who is stupid enough to blog their life freely and believe friends and relatives wont see – well you are morons! even if they dont read it now – they might in the future and decide to slog through your archives and see what shit you’ve written. if you dont want to offend – self edit from day one.

LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the guys who posted the clip on the net without this kids permission (nytimes) are lil’ trolls but its nice to see the net community trying to apologize for embarrassing him. poor kid. i do wanna say to the media – learn the word meme. if you start using it and explaining it you wouldnt have to ANNOY me while i read your wretched articles! its a meme which will go away. hell its cant be THAT big a meme – i havent seen it yet. maybe people i know arent interested and havent linked to the file yet…..

you know that crap about the people using Sesame St, Barney songs and ‘heavy’ metal like Metallica to ‘break’ Iraqi POWs….well I can understand Barney being a force for evil – i think they would break faster if they were forced to watch him. and i guess the high pitch voices of the kiddies singing the sesame st song would be torture if you hadnt been forced to listen to it from childhood.
but really – i heard that the metallica song being used is Enter Sandman….how pussy can you get??? they should go for old-style Metallica….not their mainstream stuff. anything pre the black album is the good. Metallica – you sold out you pussies!
also – there would be a lot scarier bands to make them listen to. having a brother and sister who were (and still are to some extent) into heavy metal added to my alarmimgly diverse music tastes, damn them! 🙂

another music related link Onion takes the piss out of the ‘punks’ of the last decade. muchas funny!
