X-Men 2
now keep in mind — i dug it. it was the cool. but this post is mostly about my negative thoughts.

Shirtless Hugh Jackman was very disappointing! there was only one scene and he was actually in the buffo but the full body shot – it was backlit so you couldnt see anything vital, and close up he just wasnt looking tasty. i feel deprived.
in the ads for it Storms hair was bugging me majorly but i dont mind it now.

i really liked the character Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler…what kind of name is that for such a great lil’ guy???). he was super cool when he was kicking arse in the white house and then he turned out to be such a sweety that i loved him! wee – i thought it was Alan Cumming under that make-up! yay for being right!!
it was so obvious fire boy was gonna go with magneto. his whole attitude was wrong for the x-men – and once he had his chat with Magneto who did a charming job of pandering to his vanity..well you knew it was gonna happen for sure. i liked when Rogue used her power to both stop him and take back some of the mayhem he caused when they were at Bobby’s parents place.
when the school where the x-men are based is attacked by the miltary…okay – so they were being fairly uncaring about who they targeted – but they are only using tranquilizers on everyone. i’ve seen plenty of violent films so i should be immune to stuff but i really found that when wolverine started fighting back and killing non-mutants with his claws – i just didnt like it. i think because stabbing a person is vastly more personal that shooting someone.
and whats happened to Jean? is she still alive has she evolved into somethig else? thats what i thought it was implying at the end….? will we see her again? i thought her hair was looking very Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil… ^-^ someone tell me whats happened to jean…will she come back? 🙁
[note – someone gave me the info i needed on my lj so all is good – i knew her X-men name thingy would explain it! i just couldnt remember it!!]
the girly who was like Wolverine…what was her name? well i felt that apart from giving Wolvie someone cool to fight with her role was pretty lame…and while her death looked cool with the metal coming out her eyes and stuff….it was a pretty disappointing end.
