ah – i hate just bludging links off blogdex – its a sign i am not being a good blogger and finding new interesting stuff. oh well

iblist.com is a new book review site. i wonder how popular it will be. amazon is a fairly good repository of reviews for things – good and bad. do we really need more? i dont know. but i was looking over the review page for Atlas Shrugged. one review summed up the pain of the book
Much of the story is compelling, but Galt’s lengthy speech proves to be crippling and almost unreadable.
so true. also – the first time i read it i had to struggle to read it beyond the part where Dagny completes the John Galt Line. but once past there i was hooked. but yes – that speech should be taken out back and torn apart by angry dogs….or something equally satisfying.
