okay – well i was just blathering to some mates at work today about my fave school teacher who read us some awesome stories in primary school. 3 of them – the BFG, The Witches and my fave – Danny the Champion of the World, were – all by Roald Dahl. i was having trouble remembering how to spell roald so i used ol’ google and found RoaldDahlFans.com. woo!

i lurved Danny the Champion of the World. i remember after my teacher finished reading it i came home from school that day raving (you kiddie Potter fans are missing out man!) and my brother said something like ‘i have a copy of that’. the grandparents had given it to him as a birthday or christmas present and it had been shoved into the bottom of a cupboard in the laundry. from that day forth that magical book became mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!! i need to read it again!!!!!!!!
