mother went for a drive today. twas all a big drama because its the first time she has driven since she got her provisional license. the brother has lent her his car because he is off to spend a week in queensland with his girlfriend because she is presenting a paper at a conference. so mother is mobile! EEK! she was a wee bit nervous because its beena few months since she had driven. but on the way home after dropping jason off she got more comfortable – it helped that jason wasnt there pointing lil’ things out. i just sat there and nattered and when she got a bit nervous i’d be going ‘its all good!’ or ‘you rock!’ or ‘sure – lets go find someone to show off to’ 🙂 sadly the friend we went to visit wasnt home – spoiled mums fun. but she was feeling a lot more relaxed by the time we got home. my mum is so adorable! heehee
