on the fringe has the somewhat nifty Seven on Sunday. It’s now monday my time but anyways…

Seven favorite books of all time…
1. The Wraeththu Omnibus
(3 books in one actually) by Storm Constantine
2. The Ancient Future by Traci Harding
3. The Witching Hour by Anne Rice
4. The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb
5. Belinda by Anne Rice
6. The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub
7. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

far more difficult than when i first decided to do it. i was gonna put everythingby Anne McCaffrey somewhere. i love everything by her that i have read. and the Wraeththu books – how could i pick one?? and the Robin Hobb books….i was sorely tempted to include the Liveship Traders books as well but i am still reading the last one. another recent set of books that i adored was Harry Potter. just wonderful books. and there are classics i could add……very difficult! anyways – that whole list could be revised in a few months or years. a few years back anne rice would have had the top four spots taken no problem, or in mid high school stephen king and dean koontz would have swept the field. end of high school tolkien, stephen donaldson and marion zimmer bradley would be up top…..
and i hope no one thinks me liking Atlas Shrugged is weird. to this day i find myself thinking of it. i also find myself remembering parts of The Fountainhead. just moments that stick in my brain and fester…..hmm – i think i need to reread them.
