well yay me. this is what is wrong with my eyes. it gets a bit techincal but still its interesting. the words “you might need a corneal transplant in future” struck fear into the heartof yours truly, but thankfully they are just gonna fit me with corrective contacts for now.
with eye operations they usually dont put you right under do they? well thats not on. i dont wanna see people coming at my eyes witha scalpel.
ARGH! i just rubbed my eyes. I gotta stop doing that. that can be one of the things that can cause this problem. its probably too late now, but after he told me that my brain went “well thats it. we are stopping that as of now!”
anyways while i was at the specialist they put these drops in my eyes so the black part of the eye would get really big so the dude could see things better. it was funny because the chap who put the stuff in – just before he did it i kept asking him is it gonna sting and he kept avoiding the question. it did – a tiny bit. it had nothing on my foot though.
but anyways, after he put the stuff in, i went out to the waiting room while the actual specialist i was there to see finished with his other patients and the main problem i have been having got worse. its hard to explain what happens when i look at things…..no wait it isnt. when i try and explain it to the optometrist its hard but i am assuming most of you would have used an image editing program once or twice. when i look at something its like someone has made a duplicate layer of it in photoshop and then lowered the opacity to 10 or 15% and then also done a bit of a smudge downwards on it. does that make sense?
i made a kind of example of it in photoshop – it was a bitch to do though because light stuff on dark backgrounds do the smudge thing the worst – and even though its been hours since i went to see the specialist i still dont think my eyes are back to normal.
