okay. now i didnt find this bit out till tuesday nite – but on friday when my mum and sister went out to buy my sister her birthday present my mum had a dizzy spell and almost fainted (or so i’ve been told) an since then hadnt been feeling well. so tuesday nite she gets dad to take her to the doctor after work who then recommends he takes her to the hospital.
i dont find out till i get home from sydne and try and call him to get a lift home and find out they are at the hospital – he tells me practically nothing. and i call my sister hoping she might have enough money to pay for a cab when i get home (she doesnt) and she hasnt heard from dad either. we were so impressed.
anyways much later that nite (after i walked halfway home and my sisters boyfriends mum picks me up and drives me the rest of the way home) dad calls and it turns out that mum had a mini stroke on friday.
couldnt fucking believe it!!!!!!!
last nite on Gideons Crossing (aussie tv so its probably way behind the US airing schedule) they had an episode and there was this 35 year old chick who had had a series of minor strokes and mum was saying the way she described what happened was exactly how she had felt.
anyways – they did a bunch of tests and at she’s okay except her blood pressure is still really high.
i told mum if she has a big stroke i am gonna kick her ass. damnit! why cant people you love be immortal?
