first day of work was no biggie. i helped the girl i will be working with – sarah – do the last of the stuff for one of the bigger uni’s around here. we did a lot of labelling and putting stuff in boxes in preparation for mailing. oh what fun. 🙂

one of the accounts ladies (i think) brought me around that form you have to fill in listing your tax file number but the frm she gave me was someone elses that had already been filled in. i went around to her office at least eight times to tell her and give it back and get another one, but she was never in when i went in…oh well – will have to do that tomorrow.

next week sarah is going to new york for a week and then london for two weeks (i think) so another girl will be doing her job and i will be assisting her till sarah gets back. i hope i have learnt enough by the end of this week to be more of a help than a hinderance.

anyways – everyone seems pretty nice – the only worrying point is that even before i started – because they already have a rebecca in the section i will be working in – people have been refering to me as buffy to differentiate me because one of the things on my old resume was my buffy site – which hasnt been updated for a while now. i hope if they dont wanna call me rebecca they can at least call me a name i like….maybe i should tell them all to call me endor. i am used to my online friends calling me that……

but buffy…..i like the show – i do NOT like the name…….. *sigh*
