Okay – rant time

This is to do with aussie news so any non aussies should just run away now! 🙂

Issue 1: John Della Bosca and his comment about GST on food.
I got the impression by the statement he made about having the GST on all food was just saying that to make it easier if the Labor party chose to keep the GST when they came into power, then they should just put the GST on all food – not have these crazy ‘some things do, some things dont’ policy that the Democrats forced on the Liberals.
I think Natasha Stott Despoja felt an urge to have a psychotic fit on Tuesday and completely misinterpret the guys comments and the media got on the band wagon and they all wents nuts!
Even his own party joined the insanity! MORONS!
And some more preaching by the silly wench when it was her stupid party that agreed to let the Liberals have their GST! Get a brain!!!

Anyways – the poor guy was vilified by all and had to retract the statement and he’s in the shit with his party and all is not good! Thanks Australia!

Issue 2: Stupid GST things I have spotted.
Okay – this one I spotted at work late yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately i didn’t photocopy the info – but part of the new aussie GST is that there will be no GST on fresh food. Okay fair enough….but can someone explain to me why milk (processed – so it is homogenised and pasteurised) is GST free, but milk from a cow that has not been processed has GST?
Anyways I have found a link but it is to a pdf file. You will have to scroll down to page 18 of the pdf file – but the number at the bottom of the page is 16. Ahh – wonderful logic!

Anyways. Would you trust these men to run your country? Bugga that – would you trust these men with your annoying relative that you have fantasies of taking to a shooting range and using for target practice? Neither would I – but they are our only two options! There isnt a chance in hell any other party would get the numbers to get their guy(girl) in!
